HR Strategy
We have provided resources to a number of companies to help them align their human resources with their business plans and strategies. To us, HR strategy is the process by which organizations identify and address the people implications of their business plans - it is not just a strategy for the HR function itself. Typically, these assignments include identifying and prioritizing critical people-related issues, developing strategies for addressing those issues, and creating specific action plans in these areas:
- People, including both required skills and staffing levels
- Process, which we define as how work gets done
- Structure, from individual positions up to an including the structure of the organization as a whole
- Management Practices, including recruiting, staffing, training, development, performance management, and rewards/recognition
